Too Pretty to Eat?
What are two of our favorite things in the world? That would have to be fine jewelry and pretty desserts. What if you could put the two together? Well at Mama's Fish House on Maui, Hawai'i they have done just that. This is the Polynesian Black Pearl Dessert, and it's TO DIE for! Inside the coconut wafer lies a Tahitian Vanilla with an outer glossy chocolate ganache. Once the outer chocolate orb is punctured, beneath it lies a sweetly tart lilikoi cream center. The plate is decorated beautifully with chocolate and lilikoi sauce. It's almost too pretty to eat!
Makai Collection
Our Makai collection meaning "Towards the sea"
makai
[muh-kahy] adverb, Hawaii. 1.toward or by the sea; seaward.
Origin of makai: Hawaiian, equivalent to ma directional particle + kai ocean
"Makai", as defined above, is a directional term in Hawai'i meaning "toward the sea", or "seaward." The Kate Alexandra Makai Collection embodies everything about our love for the Ocean. From our La Tortuga turtle shell cocktail rings, to the dainty Coastal Current wavy bar necklace and mini wavy bar earrings, to our White Cap and Channel stackable rings, each piece embodies a component of some of our favorite things about the "makai" side.
